Week in Review: 25/11/12

We had more snow!  Yay!  Our last snowfall was melting steadily so we got a fresh coat on Friday night/Saturday morning.  It made for some interesting driving yesterday, what with the crazy shopping traffic that's been going on.  Speaking of, the Black Friday sales seemed crazier this year.  It was a bit annoying, considering it's Canadian stores wanting to keep business in the city than have shoppers drive 2 hours to the States for shopping.  Like really?  Do they lose out on that much business?  It's hard to believe.  But whatever.

Books Read
Wild Man by Kristen Ashley

Is there any surprise I read a KA in the past week?  LOL  Brock, aka Slim, was introduced in Mystery Man and he wasn't my favorite character...so those feelings followed him into his own book.  He was redeemed by his love for Tess and I enjoyed his story, just not as much as previous KA books.

Equation for Love by Fae Sutherland

I was in the mood for an m/m and this one hit the spot.  Skye is an introverted, geeky, genius type (like Sheldon from BBT) and fresh out of college and about to start a new job, he decides to spend his signing bonus on an education of a different kind.  He hires Liam, a male escort, to introduce him to being gay.  I liked this one, I liked how Liam and Skye developed feelings for each other.  It was a good read.

  2. I love used book stores. But the one downtown is SO expensive-I don't think that's normal.

    Have a good week-

  4. Ooh, I love visits to the used bookstore but I need to stay away from them. I need to purge a lot of the books that I have and I can't be adding new books into the mix. Ugh.

    1. LOL I've been very restrained lately when visiting the UBS. I do have a big bag of books to take in but I want to bring my credit down a bit. LOL It's too big!
